Wizdom Education exhibits at the 2002 Fall Convention
of the Illinois Council for Exceptional Children (ICEC)

Wizdom Wizard makes surpise visit

Naperville, IL November 1, 2002 –Wizdom Education, a premier provider of Special Education IEP and Transition Planning software, presented a session titled “The Transition Planning Process – Meeting the Needs of Students, Teachers and Parents Through Web-based Technology” during the Connections Conference at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Illinois June 10. 2003, to an enthusiastic audience of educators and administrators.

The Wizard makes surprise appearance at the Wizdom Education, a Division of Wizdom Systems, Inc. exhibit at the 2002 Fall Convention of the Illinois Council for Exceptional Children (ICEC) in Schaumburg, IL on October 31st and November 1st.

Many attendees attributed this visit to the fact that it was Halloween, but the Wizard explained his appearance as being unrelated to the season. He came to witness the excitement being generated by Wizdom’s continuous introduction of new products and serves, such as LiveAid!, which was introduced at this conference.

Traditional to ICEC conferences is an exhibitor sponsored raffle. Wizdom stole the show this year by raffling rides in a fully restored 1946 J3 Piper Cub. Chris Moore, Special Education Teacher from River Forest, IL, was the lucky winner on October 31st. “My husband won’t believe that I won something so special”, said Chris. “I am so excited.”

Fridays lucky winner was Rita Nemchausky of Chicago School District 299 for the Piper Cub ride. Ritas words, “But I wanted the Harry Potter CD”. We are sure Rita will change her mind when she is strapped into front seat of the J3. The Harry Potter CD lucky winner was Kathy Heinsohn of Naperville 203. The Harry Potter Doll lucky person was Trace Jacobson of H.S. District 113 in Highland Park.

About Wizdom Education.
Wizdom Education is a Division of Wizdom Systems, a Naperville-based company that has been providing government and corporate clients with business process reengineering, instructional design, and special education software and services since 1986. Wizdom’s LiveIEP! is an easy-to-use IEP program that puts the power of the web into the hands of special education case managers, and lets case managers and other school staff do work without depending upon network availability. Wizdom’s TransPlanner!, developed with funding by the U.S. Department of Education, helps students with disabilities, their case managers, and their parents do effective transition planning, and bridges the gap that often exists between schools and community service providers.
